Arundel Catholic Cathedral also dominates the town & often has organ recitals by renowned players on its wonderful organ.
Petworth with its National Trust House & grounds by Capability Brown and wonderful Deer Park are 4 miles away. Petworth town has many interesting architectural features and is a centre for quality antique shops in the country.
Midhurst is a short drive with Polo at Cowdray Park and many delightful shops to browse.
Chichester City & the Harbour is a designated area of outstanding National Beauty popular with sailors, birdwatchers & walkers.
The South Downs Way is a few miles south of Bankywood with fantastic walks & views.
